Revolt
We exist to restore families, transform young men into the leaders their neighborhoods are waiting for, make communities safer, and mobilize a new generation, and to change culture itself through the same storytelling and media that shape it.
We The Revolt is the nonprofit Reconcile leads: juvenile justice reform, reentry, and violence prevention built inside the system itself. The work runs in partnership with the courts, agencies, and community leaders who shape how young people are served, and it happens where it counts, not from a distance.
Every week, our Defining Narratives programming runs inside juvenile detention in South Florida, and on the ground with youth in Chicago. Not charity from a distance. Proximity, earned over years.
Most programs meet kids after the damage is done. We The Revolt gets there first, with weekly programming inside detention, mentoring that continues after release, and documentary storytelling that puts the truth of the system on the record.
We don't run programs at people. We build relationships that outlast a case number.
