Revolt
We exist to restore families, transform young men into the leaders their neighborhoods are waiting for, make communities safer, and mobilize a new generation — and to change culture itself through the same storytelling and media that shape it.
We The Revolt is the nonprofit Reconcile leads: juvenile-justice reform, reentry, and violence prevention built inside the system itself. In 2026 WTR signed a formal MOU with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, Circuit 11 — an official, state-recognized programming partnership — and holds a seat on the Circuit 11 Advisory Board alongside judges, DJJ leadership, the State Attorney's Office, schools, and police.
Every week, Defining Narratives programming runs inside the Miami-Dade and Broward Regional Detention Centers — 62 to 120 young people per session — and at the Firehouse Community Arts Center in North Lawndale, Chicago. Not charity from a distance. Proximity, earned over years.
Most programs meet kids after the damage is done. We The Revolt gets there first — weekly programming inside detention, mentoring that continues after release, and documentary storytelling that puts the truth of the system on the record.
We don't run programs at people. We build relationships that outlast a case number.

The work travels — South Florida, Chicago, and Houston — through roundtables, the Every Youth Every Facility Unchained Tour, and a documentary pipeline. The story gets told on camera so it can't be ignored.
The DJJ MOU, the board seats, the national tour, the documentary pipeline, the Chicago initiative — these are not plans. They are in place. The music is the megaphone; We The Revolt is the mission behind it.
