PERSEVERE

Galatians 6:9

“Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don't give up.”

You're tired. Not lazy, tired. Doing right when nobody claps, staying clean when it'd be easier to relapse, showing up for people who don't notice. The harvest is real, but it's on God's clock, not your feelings. Most men quit one season early, right before the thing they prayed for breaks open. Don't be the man who let go on the last day of winter. Stay in it a little longer.

Today's move

Keep doing the right thing today, especially with no applause.

Steps toward a better life
  • Keep doing the right thing today, especially with no applause.
  • Stay clean and stay faithful one more day.
  • Do not quit in the last season of winter.
Come home to Jesus

Maybe you have never actually come home to Him. It is simpler than religion made it. Admit you cannot fix yourself. Believe Jesus already did what you could not, took the weight and beat the grave. Then talk to Him like He is real, because He is: God, I am done running. I believe You. Take what I have got left and make me new. That is the door. If you prayed that and meant it, tell one believer today and find a church that preaches the real thing. You do not clean up first. You come as you are, mud and all.

Pray about this
  • Give me strength to do good when nobody claps.
  • Help me trust Your clock over my feelings.
  • Keep me in it a little longer.
