ISOLATION

Genesis 2:18

“It is not good that the man should be alone.”

You pulled back and called it protecting your peace. But some of that 'peace' is just you slowly disappearing where nobody can check on you. The enemy doesn't need much when he gets you alone, no accountability, no honest mirror, no brother to say you're wrong. Independence is a myth we tell ourselves right before we fall. Get back around real people who love you enough to tell you the truth. You were not built to do this solo.

Today's move

Reach back out to one person you've been avoiding.

Steps toward a better life
  • Reach back out to one person you have been avoiding.
  • Let someone check on you this week. Answer the phone.
  • Get in one room of real people, in person, before Sunday.
Come home to Jesus

Maybe you have never actually come home to Him. It is simpler than religion made it. Admit you cannot fix yourself. Believe Jesus already did what you could not, took the weight and beat the grave. Then talk to Him like He is real, because He is: God, I am done running. I believe You. Take what I have got left and make me new. That is the door. If you prayed that and meant it, tell one believer today and find a church that preaches the real thing. You do not clean up first. You come as you are, mud and all.

Pray about this
  • Pull me out of the room where I am disappearing.
  • Give me a brother who will tell me the truth.
  • Break the myth that I am safer alone.
